The Search for Love: Are You Rushing or Just Trying to Get It Right?

As the month of love comes to an end, some hearts are still full, while others are left wondering. Valentine’s season brings sweet moments for many, but for some, it’s just another reminder that they’re still searching, still hoping, and
still waiting for their turn.

Maybe that’s you. Maybe you’ve been putting yourself out there, meeting new people, hoping to find someone who stays. You’ve tried, you’ve cared, you’ve given your best—but somehow, love keeps slipping through your fingers. And now, you’re left questioning: Am I rushing? Am I trying too hard? Is something wrong with me? Why does love always seem just out of reach?

People will tell you different things. “Stop searching. Love will come when you least expect it.” Or the opposite: “You have to keep looking—love won’t just knock on your door.” So, which one is right?

The truth? There’s no single path to love.

Some people find it when they least expect it. Others find it because they never stopped searching. Some need time alone to heal and grow, while others need to explore and experience to understand what they truly want. Love doesn’t follow a script—it unfolds in its own way, at its own time.

So if you feel like trying, try. If you need to step back, take that break. But whatever you do, don’t let past disappointments make you believe love isn’t meant for you. Because love isn’t about rushing or waiting—it’s about knowing your worth, staying true to yourself, and being open to love in all its forms.

Because when the right love comes, it won’t feel like a chase. It won’t feel like a question. It will feel like home. 💙

"Somewhere Between the Silence and the Love"

Blog post: We Were Never Really Alone, a reflection on family love and belonging Family & Personal Growth We Were Never Really Alone When you realize the love you were searching for was right at home all along. Personal Essays · 4 min read Have you ever felt alone in a room full of people who are supposed to be your safe place? It happens more than we admit. And sometimes, that room is home. There are moments when family can feel like the most distant thing in the world. The silence between everyone feels heavy. Responsibilities pile up and shift around. People go about their days without really checking in. And slowly, without meaning to, we start to believe something that hurts: that we don't matter to them the way they matter to us. No matter how much we try to shake it off, the feeling stays. The feeling of being on the outside, looking in at a family that doesn't seem to have space for us. And the longer ...

Hate Is Not the Opposite of Love, It’s Indifference

Time really flies, doesn’t it? A lot has happened, and I’ve learned a few things along the way. This one comes from the heart. Have you ever felt hurt by someone who never said sorry? Maybe they forgot what they did, or maybe they just didn’t care enough to notice. You try to move on, but part of you still remembers the pain. You wonder if you should forgive them, even if they never asked for it. If you’ve ever felt that way, this is for you. Hate Is Not the Opposite of Love; It’s Indifference   People often think that hate is the opposite of love, but it’s not. When you hate someone, it means you still care in some way. You still feel something when you think about them. The real opposite of love is indifference, when you simply stop caring at all. That’s when your heart has truly moved on. We’ve all experienced moments when someone we care about hurts us. It could be a friend, a parent, a boyfriend or girlfriend, or even someone we trusted deeply. Sometimes they say or do thing...

Discovering a Hidden Gem: The Cafe/Carnival Bar Near BTS Bang Na This cafe/carnival bar near BTS Bang Na is one of my favorite places. I've visited many times and have never been disappointed. The coffee and food are fantastic, and the place has its own unique charm. From the outside, it looks like a regular house, which makes it a bit tricky to find. The first time I went with friends, we didn't recognize it right away. But once we stepped inside, it felt like we had entered a different world, or even a different country. The atmosphere was enchanting and made me dream of opening my own cafe someday. At first, I was hesitant to take pictures and stay longer because there were a lot of people. But the cafe is so Instagrammable, and the prices are very reasonable. It's a perfect spot for friends to hang out and even for dates. When you enter, you'll first pass through the cafe area. If you're looking for a more private setting, you can go further inside where the car...
